Study Hard, Party Harder, Pray Hardest

So, a new motto's up and I know almost everyone can relate to it HEHEHEHE. Anyway, this title is just a repost from a friend's status update in Facebook. The semester is coming to its worse, talk about the start of having Animal Developmental Biology Lecture under a prof-who-must-not-be-named,two unappreciated factors now joined as one.

I should not be blogging this randomly right now since I have an exam later from a professor, whose test exams I rarely pass. "It's not you, it's me." Oh... maybe it's her mind-torturing exam questions, too. But really, thanks to myself for cramming this all the way to failure. Well, plant studies may sound unexceptionally easier as compared to animal studies, but that just ain't the case. I know you, my fellow Bio people, can relate to this. Though I'm not saying that I'll choose Animal Physiology over Plant Physiology anytime of the day HEHEHEHE. Having to have finished reading one lecture done, yes, that's right, one powerpoint down! I know I gotta put all my nerves into concentration, my butt to working, no, not the kind of work you're thinking O.o and study hard in this last exam for my not-so-loved plant part of DevBio.

Anyway, I'll spend my afternoon with someone really close to me and my heart, and I just hope we spend it the most fruitful we can. But I'll still be happy loads just to see that person again. Yay, good vibrations January!

More of the GVs coming, vERdict 4 is tonight already. It's the biggest med/law party of the year DAW. Okay, feeling med already. But, but, but... it's a party where you can meet people who understands you the most... more GC people HEHEHEHE.

Does the program title mean like having a decision in the Emergency Room? Interesting...

Just got the invitation yesterday, and I hope we're going. Anyway, I still want to go party even if it's vERdict or not. Though, I'm thinking that parties get wilder when you know no one, except for a couple of friends you are with. Judging from experience that is HEHEHEHE. But 250php won't harm us trying this med/law party anyway. Someone I met told me that these people, med students, party the hardest. Well, I'm not sure if it's true but we still have a saying, "Study hard, Party harder."

However, let's make a little modification to that 'coz right now I'm trying to study hard so that I can guiltlessly party harder later and will pray the hardest so that I can finish everything I need to study and that I'll be forgiven for I will commit another sin. To live such short life, might as well make your parents proud and study hard; might as well make yourself the happiest and party harder; and never forget to look up and pray the hardest.

Exposé

Say whatever you want to say. Call me names if that's what your mind tells you to. Bully me to your heart's content. But I'm enjoying things I do just as much as you enjoy whatever it is you like to do. What you'll be reading is something that you may be first time knowing about Ren. That is if you don't know me well. Blah blah blah.

Moe moe kyun~ - sorry, but I don't really know what it means. I just heard it somewhere. Feel free to use it if you desire to.

So, I just "finished" reading a manga, well, at least up to its updated chapter. Call me an otaku, I don't really care, I'll even take it as a compliment, even it literally stands for "loser". Anyway, the manga is titled Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama which means "President is a Maid!" (The otaku type of maid, that is.) The manga is still ongoing, what I meant by "finished reading it" is that I finished reading up to the latest chapter that is available online. I do not plan to give a review of the manga, but I am only here to express my heart's desire.

Since I have this burning desire for the male lead character, Usui Takumi, my friend told me to blog about it, since I'm always bugging him with my non-stop messages of "Kinikilig ako". And eventually, I really ended up in doing so. As much as I don't want to tolerate my otaku side anymore, but the pleasure of reading this thing as a waste of time, rather a past time - as a friend will tell me to, is really overwhelming. I must say, I cannot express how highly "motivated" I am to be reading this shit involving Usui. As much as I despise imagining myself as a fan-girl of the fast disseminating _-Pop epidemic, I couldn't resist from being a fan-girl of this manga, rather, of Usui.

You may now kill me as I will be revealing my greatest fantasies, as you may not be able to take everything as part of reality. I know he is only a fictional character, but he is just admirable all over. I am not judging this from how he looks (as anime characters mostly look like everyone of their kind), but I am saying this from how I see him through his character and actions. Keeping his cool at all times, being persistent with the "demon" girl he likes, sacrificing everything he has for his happiness, fighting for what he desires and feels right for himself and his love one, etc etc. I know things like those are to good to be a part of reality as we view reality in a shallow point of view. Long ago, I often thought of "I wish to meet the Usui of my life." But the truth is, everyone can be like how I view Usui, everyone of us may have or will have to experience such things as we live life as grown-ups. Being responsible of your actions is part of growing up anyway.

TNL vs TNC

Who ever said that this is not a sexist world?

Kung mayroong blog site ang mga tunay na lalaki,

aba'y tila hindi magpapahuli ang mga kababaihan,
meron ding blog site ang mga tunay na chicks!

WednesDate ♥

Me me me so excited. Me so excited... Partyin' Partyin' Yeah! Fun, fun, fun, fun..... This is gonna be so fly, like Peter Pan on G6 off to the sky.

I'm excited for Rebecca Black's Good Charlotte's mall tour this Wednesday. I swear I'll kill myself if I wouldn't be able to see and rock with them. It'll only last for once-in-a-lifetime-blissful 30 fucking minutes of my life. But before I (we) go there, pesto and fruit smoothies first! Crepes for dessert and chips to munch with as time will fly faster than we'll know it. I'm having this craving for all of these yummies already. All of my savings will go to food again, and all of those food will go to my big, flabby tummy. But it's alright, as I will get to spend that rocking night with someone who can forever rock my tiny, itsy bitsy, dramatic world.

After this, back to saving money, though I don't really know where I can get money during the summer break. Next event, beach with my bitches girlies. Coming soon, night out with my sluts loveys. Any more events you want me to join you? Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me...

WebcamWhoring

There are times when my vanity strikes and I go all webcamwhoring with my friends. I'll bug them with "Webcam tayo dali!" You now see what boredom does to me. These photos are webcam print screens from a webcam session with someone. They were taken at around 3 o'clock in the morning. We're night persons, we really are. I wasn't able to take photos of the person I was chatting with, my best friend, since the person's webcam is turned upside down. I wouldn't want to post anything like that since I am a little obsessive-compulsive. And besides, I was the one who wanted to use the webcam, not my friend. What my friend really wanted to do is a voice call, but my net sucks big time that I can't hear any internet-related sounds, e.g. Y!M and FB chat notifications, even YouTube videos, and voice calls on Y!M. So there you have it, Ren gone camwhoring. Wait 'till a worse part of my vanity strikes me, where I'll find an online friend and we'll have a voice chat just for me to sing. I love my friends who are always more than willing to bear with my insanity vanity.

Better Think Of Your Future

I just wanna live
Don't really care about the things that they say
Don't really care about what happens to me
I just wanna live

Stop your messing around boy
Better think of your future
Better make some good plans boy
Said every one of my teachers
Look out better play it safe
You'll never know what hard times will come your way
We say where we're coming from
We've already seen the worst that life can bring

Now we get expect it everywhere that we go
All the things that they say
Yeah, we already know

-I Just Wanna Live, Good Charlotte

Just now, I love my life more than ever. Better think of my future? Now this is what's gonna change my not-so-exciting future. Hoorah! Thanks to Good Charlotte, I'll have something fun to do, aside from the nightlife, for my one week of summer vacation. I saw a poster of Good Charlotte's tour in the Ayala Malls from a billboard in EDSA. I wasn't able to read which Ayala Mall it is, so as I got home, I visited Good Charlotte's official website immediately. So, it's gonna be held at Glorietta Activity Center on April 6, around 6:30 to 7:00 pm. F**k, it's only for 30 minutes. So yeah, you know it already, of course I'm gonna watch them, and I'll die to see them. I know, I know, they're hard rock with a touch of metal, but I love them, their songs actually, even they kinda look like punk or goth, whatever, I don't really care how they look. Like It's Her Birthday and Hold On are personal favorites, just so you know. Now that I'm really decided to go, I just have to find someone who can rock that concert with me. Feels like I'm calling out for you? May be. Teehee. Lalalala~

Renellie

Since I am vain, I wanted to know how popular my first name is. So I googled it. And I came across a website which gives these details about my first name. This is all thanks to PokeMyName.com. At first, I thought it was PokeMonName. Then I asked myself, "Renellie's a Pokemon name?!" Teehee. I guess I'm too blinded by my vanity.

Renellie is the 58,022nd most popular name in the USA. The popularity level of my first name, Renellie, is 1.42 people per million. I think it's lower than average. As of April 01, 2011 03:03 PM (GMT +8), there are 444 people named Renellie in the United States and the number is averagely increasing by 4 people every year. Quite an updated statistics I must say. Though I can't say it's all that reliable.

The sum of the alphabetical order of RENELLIE is 80, which makes it arithmetic buddies with words Undefiled, Congenial, Gullible, Diligent, Eminent, Pious, Bouncy, Eccentric, Funny, Helpful and Relieved. It's funny that I think these words somehow describe me, though I don't know what undefiled means. It's also the first time I came across with the term "arithmetic buddies". Who would want to use that term in our daily conversations anyway? Now this is what I call self-discovery. Teehee.

Fried Egg on Fridays! But hey, it's Saturday!

Now, Fried Egg, I mean Friday, is the new Black, Rebecca Black. One hell of an awesome singer. She's a star when it comes to entertaining people, that is she and her songs will not fail to make you laugh, and laugh harder.

Friday is so yesterday, 'coz today's Saturday (with no exam! I missed this light-weekend feeling. Boo yeah!). But I can't go out with friends for a couple of reasons.

1. No money to waste.
How hard it is to be poor. I envy you people who can just waste so much money for luxury. I swear I'll be rich someday!

2. Biostat Lec and Lab exams.
How hard it is to be so bobo. Last exams for these two subjects and I didn't even listen to class discussions. Then I guess, I better spend my weekend rocking that Biostat review materials.

3. The weather's too hot.
How hard it is to be so vulnerable to heat. Ha ha ha. The heat's making me feel like slacking off in the house. I need to make this day productive!

4. I'll get fat if I eat too much.
How hard it is to be so fat with all these blabbers in my belly and arms, and if I go out malling, I'll just be food-tripping. I told myself I'll start my diet and work out yesterday, which I actually halfway did. I swear I'll be back to my old figure as soon as summer classes start.

Now that Rebecca Black and her popular song reached me, I'm inspired. I'll eat fried eggs on Fridays! Ha ha ha. Eggs are part of the Atkins diet, anyway.

Study Hard, Party Harder

After a mind-blowing-catabolism-fuckeroo Chem-ish-tree exam, some friends and I attended a friend's debut which was held in Greenbelt. Now... that party rocked academics the hell out of us. It even rocked my pride and poise out me, when I embarrassingly tripped over in a boutique, not to mention the bruise on my right knee and pasa on my left foot, particularly my middle toe, I got from that traumatic experience. What's better is the after party where we ended up wandering in Makati Avenue. My friend wanted to try meeting guys and stuff like that, so I just played along. Then a group of Atenean high school boys approached us, then we had a little chit chat, knowing each new stranger. They were actually nice. What I remember from their stories is that it's an afterparty from their ball. Blah blah blah, so on and so forth...

We probably didn't know how to respond to what we got ourselves into, well that's for my case, so again, just go with the flow wherever the talk's going to. That morning ended up asking for contact numbers. With guilt bugging me, when my newly found acquaintance and I got the chance to chat once more, I told him I have someone else, so no tolerating of flirting for my case. Well actually, he was the one who said that 'coz I was hedging and, ugh, whatever, I don't know, I'm just stupid. Well, I have my special reasons for it. And I'll live with these reasons, probably even just with this one particular reason, wherever I go, which you may think I'll probably just flirt like yeah.

Well, that was one hell of a night, my worsen pasa is my proof that I rocked that party 'till 4:30 in the morning. Say, if you can't rock in that 'ol boring chem exam, just rock that party more than you should. If you can study hard, then you should party harder!

Thank you!

Today has been a hard yet happy day. Still, thank you for this day. It made me realize things, better yet, it also made me stronger, for my own point of view at least. I appreciate everything, may it be the greatest or even the littlest that could have happened today. I'm still holding on to the saying, "Everything happens for a reason," and that reason is you. :)

Pwned Pedo

A taste of my current desktop background.

Got it from a friend, his new photoshop artwork. Though this will look much better with a Windows7 OS, poor me with Vista only. Hands down ako sa galing mo 'pre. It's like pedobear peaking behind your monitor (poor kiddo), then boom! You just got pwned, pedobear! I wish I could do something like this too. :">

DHL Express

People ought to know that expression of one's self can be in different forms,
it's the thought of freeing the self from the bars that counts anyway.

So, I miss this... dancing. I know I am not as good as those well-known dancers, hence, I only dance to express. Expressing one's self, may it be in whatever form we prefer, is a great stress-reliever. We do not express just to get ourselves noticed and have our narcissist side satisfied, hence we do it to free ourselves from whatever hindrance there is in our way. Healthy it is to express, though may also get us depressed. Just take life as it is, and be not afraid to take a step. Live, love, laugh.

A Stinky New Year's Eve

Figuratively and literally.

Have you tried smelling fresh meat? How about a butcher's hand? Well, I do, 'cause that's what I smell like (all over). Just like Christmas eve, New Year's eve is a hit seller for meat vendors, like yours truly, in the market, only better. Yes, my hands, my shirt, my pants, my hair, my arms, I in general, are covered with blood and meat "juices" all over. But I am proud of this stinky smell, 'cause this is the smell of our income, our money in short. And I am very proud that I was a part of this blockbuster event (I woke up at 5am this morning just for this!) to help my parents out.

Fortunately, we were able to sell everything out, but on the other hand, we don't have food for Noche buena. Huhuhuhu. We don't even have fireworks to light up, well, I don't really think it's wise to waste and burn money on fireworks. My New Year's eve is not a typical one, no bonggang handa and paputok. But I think that the most important thing about welcoming 2011 is to have my small family happily together. Hearing good music, seeing cool fireworks and wearing fancy clothes (even there's no one to see me lol) come along as well. :P

I'm Dying

Yes, that's right, you've read it correctly, as of this moment, I am dying. Can't take it anymore, I want changes in my life 'cause I'm already too tired.

Too much drama. But hey, don't overthink. I am dying, as in hair dye, though what's written above is true, I badly want some change. :)) Since I can't wait till tomorrow to get my hair dyed, I'm having it dyed right now. Teeheehee~ :"> Too excited, I hope this turns out well. :)) If not, then it's time to /wrist. Huhuhuhu. :'(

SCHEDULE :)

I've scheduled my holidays like this:

Dec23-27 - Help out in our shops
Dec27 night - Have my hair cut! (probably)
Dec28 morning and night - Help out in our shops
Dec28 noon - Have my hair colored (by myself) :">
Dec29-Jan1 - Help out in our shops and probably be a kargadora again
Jan2 morning - Help out in our shops
Jan2 noon - Buy "gifts" for some peoplez :))
Jan2 night - Party (not sure though)
Jan3 - Back to school

Well, I hope everything goes according to plan. Teeheehee~

Holiday Productivity!

Sorry, but I'll be expressing my narcissist side. Yes yes, because I am very proud. :))

This yuletide season, I was productive, is productive and will continue to be productive. Instead of being the usual slacker during holidays, I am different this Christmas. Aside from being our RTW shop's kargadora, I am now officially a part of our meat shop. But no, I am no butcher, only a cashier and tagabalot. I tried so many times to be a small-time butcher, but no, my strength can't take the knives and the meat.

I'll wake up at 6am, bathe, head straight to Cellphone Repair Shop, switch to meat shop and stay there until our lunch is ready. I think it started on December 23, two days before Pasko, and that has been my daily routine up to this date and most likely until New Year comes. Yes, it is indeed tiring, imagine me standing from 7am to 2pm, especially on Christmas eve and it'll be more tiring on the 31st of the month. During those times, I'm like a Santa, granting the buyers' pamasko or tawad. Daily, as I arrive home, at around 10pm or 11pm, my legs feel numb and my body restless. The other day, I felt great pain in my left leg, the next day, my right leg. My left ankle is still swelling and I'm thinking of putting Salonpas on it. Oh well, I guess I just have to live with this lifestyle at least before classes resume. At least I'm not wasting much time, the best part is that I'm helping my parents with our businesses. :)

My Christmas

Yes, I’m a Christian, but I’m no Catholic. My religion doesn’t celebrate Christmas, but no, I’m not against celebrating it ‘coz I see it as a “partying holiday” for the believers. Seeing people excited about the upcoming holiday excites the bones in me, too. I admire beautifully Christmas theme-decorated houses. I’m not really into gift-giving, as I have this Ilocano trait, being kuripot, rushing in my blood. But I really love it when stores are in big SALE. Anyway, it was the first time I got really kilig about buying a gift for someone. No, I don’t like the person, probably because I was into Christmas that time. :))

Plus, one night, on my way to church, I adored the houses we passed by ‘coz they were beautifully decorated. Then, I also saw a pitbull with a Christmas lighted-collar. Too cute for a ferocious dog. :))

This is the first Christmas season that I’ve been this excited, though I wouldn’t really have this excitement in me for long. But now that it’s already Christmas break, I guess I’ll celebrate my cold Christmas with my laptop and computer games. I know, it’s too boring, but that’s what I do every year. :))

Anyway, advance merry Christmas everyone! Enjoy the holidays (and the break from those shitty books)! xo

Networking Communities

My Top Networking Sites and Why I Use Them:

TWITTER’s like the streets, where you hear a lot from different people.

FACEBOOK’s like the mall, where there’s a lot of things to choose from.

And, TUMBLR’s like the school, a really really good school, where you see and learn lots of COOLsubjects” and stuffs, from really COOLprofessors”.

Well, this one isn't really a networking site,

but BLOGGER's like the home, where you're free to do anything you like expressively, as your true self. :)

- So true. :)

Christmas "Shopping"

It's December, Christmas season and season for gift-giving, (and no, I did not intendedly shop for myself) so I am back to my old lifestyle, the kargadora lifestyle. Since it's one of the best seasons of the year, mum takes advantage of it and buys a lot of stuff for retail. As usual, I always accompany her as her kargador, buying stuff for kids (blouses, skirts, shoes, etc.). In fact, my arms are still aching because of all the stuff (they were heavy but I should not say so 'cause it'll be a bad luck for the business) I carried yesterday. Though it was fun shopping with mum, 'cause I was able to buy 4 new shoes and 2 dresses. One reason to be really really HAPPY. Good way to start my "pay" for all those load. :))

Maybe this is the reason and season behind my work outs and "body-building". Well, I'm quite sure that I am not working on my abdominal muscles, biceps and triceps just to be a "professional" kargadora of our shop.
