28th February 2012, MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) held its Grand Evangelical Mission (GEM) in accordance to the religion's theme for 2012, PUSPUSANG PAGPAPALAGANAP NG EBANGHELYO, meaning a thorough dissemination of the Gospel of the Lord. Reiterating, it is an EVANGELICAL MISSION and not some kind of "rally" or "prayer rally" as the media claimed in the news earlier this day. And besides, prayer rally is El Shaddai's (and other Protestant groups) thing, and most definitely not INC's.

I am fully disturbed by the insensitive public defamation the media have spread around in their headlines regarding this religious event held. They have ill-reported false facts to the public as they claimed the event as a political rally against the impeachment of Corona.

This article below is just a proof on how unreliable the media is, as they always eye on INC as an influential group, known for "block voting", for politics. Well, block voting may be true, but in fact, INC is not, in any way, politically inclined.

Self-Worth

People cannot be always there for you, to help you stand up from downfalls and to suffice you with the strength you need. Even during the hardest times in your life, as much as people want to help you and as much as they love you, you just got to accept that there will always be times when you got to learn to stand up on your own and depend only on yourself because the greatest things your friends could offer you are support and guidance.

You can't be dependent on these people all the time, 'coz just like you, they're living their own lives, too, along with their own personal problems as well. So don't never let trivial things hinder you from living your life to the fullest. Instead, see it as a perfect chance for self-reflection, and to discover your strength and self-worth as well. Remember, not only you is suffering, everyone has their own sufferings, too, even greater than what you're experiencing. Just never give up!

P.S. This message is actually for a dear friend. I love you! Just want to let you know that I'll always be here for you, no matter what troubles you are facing (to face).

Opinions and Complexity

Hey! What do you think you're doing right now? Reading this piece of shit, eh? Well, this whole thing I own is really just some shit, plain and ordinary shit. Wanna know why? It's based on what a friend use to tell me.

A friend once told me, "Opinions don't matter," but why do you we take interest in reading blogs, even the status updates? Because I believe that opinions may be good references of facts. However, according to my Comm I professor, facts can either be true or false. Moreover, one needs great resources and references to come up with a good paper. Hence, I view opinions as somewhat words of importance, too, but not literally of influence. Rather, opinions are better to be heard but not to be totally affected of.

It is true that what people think and say about you do not matter, rather, it's a matter of self-reliability and self-reflection. You just got to know and discover things for yourself and for your own good as well. But then, opinions will always follow you, so be careful and mindful enough 'coz wrong facts may always be present to deceive you.

Just so you know, everything I wrote down here is only based on my opinion. Probably not worth reading, but still, hope you learned something from my blabbering.

Hating and Loving

Yes, you've read it right. If you hate what you do, you're going to do what you hate.

There are lots of things in our lives we get fucked up with. We keep on doing things which we know are wrong, may be simply because we like the feeling we get from t. And doing these wrong things makes us hate those moments, or even ourselves, for not stopping despite knowing it's wrong, after realizing we had a choice. Well, whatever I am saying is not definite.

But hating things we keep on doing is like us being a hypocrite. It's like lying to ourselves, denying our own thoughts. I can't real assume that this is true, but the main reason for hating whatever we keep on doing is that we're only confused with what we like/love to do in our lives. It feels like I'm hating and loving the same thing at once. Maybe that's what I'm experiencing, mere confusion.

I would really like to write something full of emotions regarding my own dilemmas but I guess thinking about so much heartbreaking things keeps me away from letting it all out.

Never Regret

"Never regret anything that once brought smile to your face." This is in facto very true. To have done something willingly in the past is a proof that you liked the idea, even just for a little while. To regret something you once liked or even loved is like saying to yourself to stop enjoying. For life is constantly changing, but memories will always remain with you. To fulfill one's self is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and even to those who love you. You did it once means you loved it once, so live with it and never regret. Uhm. just try to enjoy the memory. :)
